stayed 4 nights. loved the room devisions. stayed on the top floor with our own little living room and bathroom. Although it is a 2 bedroom appartment, our host Fabio made sure that nobody took the neighbouring room (unless really necessary) - meaning the couple in the flat below us had their privacy and so did we - living room... A great hostel in Puno. Friendly and helpful staff, brilliant communal area and kitchen and overall a nice vibe. There was a good breakfast every morning and hot showers all day too which can be a rarity in this price range!

Clean, comfortable hostel with great location. The hostel owners are amazing and will go out of their way to be helpful and make sure you're comfortable. Enjoyable breakfast and excellent kitchen facilities for cooking additional meals. Best room in the house is the top floor matrimonial...amazing hot shower.

it's a different set up than most hostels - you get a room off a shared living room, where the TV and a computer with internet are. like having your own apartment. the room itself was a little small but the bed was comfortable and there were lots of blankets which kept me cozy at night (it gets cold in... I´m still mad about what happened here, months later. The place itself is not bad, it´s perfectly suitable, physically as a hostel. The breakfast is good, with pancakes (while they last). I arrived, and the woman owner treated me well. I had booked a dorm for one night, and my boyfriend was coming in the next day, and we´d move... More

the space is not an issue.... you are given plenty of additional space with your room, what feels like renting the whole apartment, with your private living-room, bathroom, tv and computer. very nice couple running the place; especially signor is super nice and fun.

It wasn't a nice experience , the rooms are small , not enough space to put backpacks , toilets smells all day long, they don't put enough toilet paper , one roll of toilet paper for all day for everyone i end up buying a toilet paper. One morning after breakfast I took my cup of coffee upstairs to lounge... More

I'm not sure what the whiners below were smoking, but Alfredo, his wife, and charming daughter are very hospitable and accommodating, if quirky. My dorm bed was a ridiculous 18 soles. They have a comfortable common area, WiFi that mostly worked, clean/quiet rooms, and nice hot showers. Breakfast was pancakes, breads, bananas, and hot beverages (all included in my 18... More

We stayed there two nights back in November. We were on our way to Bolivia and Isla del Sol, so we didn't took time to do one of their tours to Taquile or another peruvian island. The owners are really and seriously strange. Even disrespectful. First, we were two people using the terrace of the hostal, when all of a... More

Checking into this place was like walking onto the set of Faulty Towers. The owner, Alfredo, seemed to have had a little too much coca tea. We arrived at 5am from Cusco and had emailed them previously asking if it would be possible for us to book a 3 island boat trip and overnight stay through them, and store our... More
