I love the buffet breakfast at Shangri-La. They offer a very good variety of food and there are changes every day. I love the lounge at the lobby - great band and great music! The only thing i don't like is the taps in the bathroom, which need a little bit of strength to open. More

Stayed at the Makati Shangri-La during May 2012 heat wave. Property is visually stunning and service is impeccable. If there's a better breakfast buffet in the world I haven't seen it....from Western choices to traditional Filipino and other Asian offerings, the choice was outstanding. its is a nice place but when you enter the hotel you can tell that carpet is dirty even you enter your room. it is nice but i dont think i would stay there again. all i can say that i stayed there before and it was ok. breakfast buffet was ok and the dinner buffet not really worth it.... More

Upon first entrance into the hotel lobby, you are stunned at the size and grandeur. The Shangri-La is excellent. Fantastic service with a smile. Generally, the Shangri-La chain appears to do excellence with consistency but I think this is one of its better properties.
