We deliberately asked our tour operator to avoid St.-Gilles, but we 'had' to stay one night and I must say I didn't really regret after all... If you are not the beach type of person and you have or choose to stay in Saint-Gilles-les-Bains, you could opt for this one. The hotel is not located near the waterfront but 'uptown'...
