Adequate hotel in means of price but only if you find a suitable rate.
Security is strict, during your arrival you are checked with metal detector, but after that the procedure is not repeating every time you enter the hotel (not sure the guards remember each guest).

Stayed here for a week while in Moscow on business. It was the only hotel near our office available at short notice.
It is a little intimidating on arrival, as the entrance to the hotel looks like it is set up to repel a police raid.
