If you want to feel like you are back in the Russia of the 1990s, this the place for you: terrible food; bizarre service by almost everyone; time stuck somewhere around 1998. I have lived in Russia for many years, but this hotel is odd: restaurant was so terrible I never went back after a cold breakfast (this for 6000... More

If you are looking for some unique experience in Siberia, you might surely want to consider Versailles. Perhaps this could be the place if you want to experience something Russian - its style and architecture. It is located in the very good corner of the city centre with lots of dining options around. All receptionists I encountered during my 3... More

We stayed one night. The trip to the airport is long and difficult with road works. Double room was clean and spacious but breakfast was pretty basic and they were slow to resupply items which ran out. Quite expensive. Reception desk lacks charm and incredibly bureaucratic - we arrived tired and worn out at midnight but had difficulty checking in... More

Stayed 7+ times since 2002. Very good in general, just make sure that you ask for a double room - they are much more spacious. Several good restaurants within walking distance, including Seven Samurai. Good staff, attentive - same people working for many years, nice, etc. But remember: although very experienced internationally, I am still a local Russian (Moscow), so... More

I spend 6 nights in this hotel (05/24/10 to 05/30/10) : The only positiv aspect is the location for the rest : - price of the room quite hight regarding to the quality of the room - I arrived at 11 o'clock am the first day to make the check in and they oblige me to pay for another night... More

I was in Vladivostok for one night. The hotel is located right on the main street, close to the bay, and has a supermarket opposite it. The room was comfortable, bed was nice, clean bathroom, and air conditioning worked well. TV is basic, with 1 English channel. There is a minibar, and internet with a jack, but there is no... More

Vladivostok is not exactly a great tourist destination and the only reason I was there was to board the Trans Siberian train for the trip to Moscow. The Versailles is a clean hotel, the room was quite large and the water was hot. It was in a central position, easy walking distance to the few Vladivostok attractions. The staff were... More

Fantastic location within walking distance of lots of interesting places and good restaurants. Excellent free high-speed Internet in the rooms. While I speak Russian, the front desk and restaurant staff spoke good English. Rooms were clean and spacious. Good laundry service at reasonable prices. Beautifully restored elegant building. Hotel restaurant is O.K. but not great for breakfast. Deserted for other... More

The only thing really important about this hotel is the location. It is within walking distance to main attractions of Vladivostok (embankment, Fokina arbat, Svetlanskaya Str.). The small supermarket across the street is handy, to the right of that is an ATM. Studio Cafe is also just down the street (indoor and outdoor cafe with an upstairs restaurant) and down... More

The hotel is located in THE central spot in Vladivostok. There are many good cafes, bars, shops, and scenic points of interest within an easy walk. Avoid the hotel for meals - Studio Coffee just down the street has a much better breakfast in a lively atomosphere for a better price. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and feature... More
