Found this after an unfortunate experience at another hostel. Easy to find.Staff friendly, well equipped, clean. Only problem was thin walls so noisy.

Right smack in the middle of Nevsky Prospect and a minute walk from the metro, you can walk to practically all sights in the city! It has a fully equipped kitchen and stable wi-fi. The best thing about this place was the hosts; extremely friendly and helpful, can't thank them enough for the hospitality extended! Recommended!!
