In August 2011 we stayed here for one night. The hotel's outside looks like a wedding cake... and also the interior (of the ground floor at least) is rather pompuous. But that's all right. This hotel is on the road to Lake Baikal and therefor convenient for those travelling to or from places on the Lake. It is also on... More

This was our first time at Irkutsk, which we found to be a very nice city. Together with the Lake Baikal area, this makes a nice stopover if you are doing the Trans-Siberian. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel webpage does not indicate clearly how to get there from the train station. If you are not... More

Nice new hotel situated not in a center which should not be a problem at all for not lazy walkers. Lack of service is unfortunately notable. Upon my arrival at 5.30 am I found air con in my room isn’t operative. Was too tired to bother and slept with window open, luckily night was fresh. Next day leaving the hotel... More

We booked this hotel on Booking.com, our room was very small but fine for us and clean with Russian channel TV, and a small mini bar. Shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. Check in was fast and efficient and passport registration and complimentary drinking water was included in the rate so we had no extra charges. The beds... More

Stayed here in late December, when it was -25C outside. Not that central but only a 20 min walk to the centre so wasn't complaining much. Hilariously Russian luxury - marble, brass, weird art, red carpets. Nice rooms, well stocked toiletries. Superb buffet breakfasts but get in there early, as all the good stuff gets taken and not replaced. Lots... More

Arriving in front of the hotel I was impressed by its huge entrance. Then again, the Russian seem to have a thing for big entrances. Unfortunately the service awaiting me behind those doors could not live up to the promise. It is not a bad hotel, the room was nice the bed is very comfortable, it is the service I... More

stayed there for two nights in July 2010. Had a double room which was very small but clean and comfortable with nice amenities and WiFi in the room. Breakfast was OK. When we asked for two keys to our room (one for each of us) they weren't able to give us so we had to coordinate going in & out... More

We were delighted when our taxi took us to this hotel. Tall, white pillars, and a tall, beautiful building with an impressive entrance. The rooms were nice, and the beds comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here! The location is a bit away from the centre, but a 15-20 minutes nice walk downtown was not any problem, we walked past many... More

Stayed here for 2 nights on a Cross country trip by plane. The hotel is only a couple of years old and rather nice looking. The first night we had a deluxe room at about 5000 Rubles pr night. The Room was new, although a little on the small side the bathroom was rather big. On our second night stay... More

Was booked in here by my husband's colleague as we had an early flight to Moscow. Room was already booked and on arrival found that due to maintenance there was no water for 3 days. Luckily we were only there one night. Unable to flush the toilet.... Room small and basic for around £100 for room only for the 2... More
