Lovely hostel. Dorms are spacious and no bunks - beds have individual reading lights and charging points which is lovely. Room isn't too hot, which is unusual for Russia and a welcome change. Lovely cosy hostel. Don't miss the banya- best experience in Russia. Natalia is a really welcoming hostess. My only complaint is that there are separate common rooms for each building, so it can sometimes be hard to mingle and meet people.

The beds here were remarkably comfortable, and the room (despite being an 8 bed dormitory) was spacious. My only qualms are the location (bit of a trek up a hill) and the failure to provide breakfast, which would make the morning walk much easier. Good value.

We had a great stay at the Baikaler Eco Hostel. It's a reasonable walk from the main road and the lake but don't let that put you off.
