“Modern hotel, nice staff”

After an unsuccessfull attempt to get a room at both Hotel Volgograd and Intourist, we were sent to Stary Stalingrad Hotel just round the corner from Intourist Hotel (Volgograd Hotel was too poshy and sterile and expensive). The receptionist spoke only Russian and said that they didn`t have a room for us but advised us on trying Hotel Yuzhnaya. She... More
