The hostel itself was good with a friendly staff. However, our money got stolen from the inside of our room when we were visiting the city. Ok first off this place is super cheap! I stayed in 6 bed dorms for only 5euros a night, its very clean, staff extremely friendly and spoke English. But the place is very dated looks like it was built in 70s and hasn't changed, the surrounding area seemed run down almost abandoned! Most the buildings along the riverside were shut!... More

Quite far away from the city center but about 800 meters from metro station. Double room was big and clean. Staff spoke english and were friendly. If you really have to go to Guangzhou this is not a bad choice for accomodation.

I stayed there for 6 nights in a private ensuite room. Rooms very spacious, clean, comfortable and with air conditioning. The location is fantastic with beautiful views across the river especially at night and the train station Line 1 is just few minutes away. We were here for two nights. The only thing that really brings it down to three stars was the staff who were not really willing to help us. We had to pester them to help. But otherwise a pleasant stay.
