Not a bad hotel, the rooms are dated and haven't been refreshed in a decade or two, apart from this the hotel was clean. I didn't like the open plan room and the toilet and shower was in little cubby holes with frosted glass. Bed was too hard for my liking.

The entrance lobby and bars are warm and welcoming but the bizarre open plan room cum bathroom is not inclined to provide any privacy. The hotel was central within the City walls and had a comfortable bed and efficient shower but I wouldn't recommend this because of the room layout. Breakfast was interesting and wide ranging.

Very impressive entrance and public areas. Room was adequately spacious, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was adequate (buffet style) but not 5-star. The staff were courteous and very helpful.

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a personal tour (The China Travel Company - excellent). Everything is seamless. Rooms lovely. Room sevice very good and reasonable. Great location, very easy to walk to most things in Xian. Bar reasonable and staff very polite.
