We stayed again at this hotel for 4 nights during the cherry blossom season. and as always, Chisun delivers.Cheap, convenient and comfortable. We booked way ahead of our trip so we got a very good rate for our stay. Way below the published rate during the onset of the hanami season.

room is real real small, however everything else is just great-location is excellent, bedding makes you comfortable, shower pressure was very strong. stayed for 6 nights with my husband, although one must stay on bed in order for the other one to do any action in the room, but given this price and quality, i am going to rate 4.5... Room is small at 13 sqm only with a 140 cm double bed for our 2 adults and 1 child is consider as tight. But room is really cozy and the price is really good for this location. I can go anywhere within few min, even to kyoto or nara n kobe, its very easy cos the subway just below... More

Rooms are small but functional in a way that only the Japanese seem to be able to achieve. May be a struggle to fit two people with luggage! Clean rooms and friendly staff. Good location in down-town Osaka right next to the subway line

A recently stayed at the Chisun Hotel Shinsiabashi and my overall experience with the hotel was great. The rooms were clean. The housekeeping staff were very nice and I always had a clean towels and toiletries each day. The location of the hotel is absolutely great. It was a block away from the station and two blocks away from Shinsaibashisuji.

A recently stayed at the Chisun Hotel Shinsiabashi and my overall experience with the hotel was great. Everything went smoothly. Rooms were small but that is expected. It took me a while to figure out how to use the elaborate Toilets they had there. High tech Johns! Amazing. The rooms were clean. The housekeeping staff were very nice and I... More

Coming out of Kyoto and sleeping in small Japanese style guesthouse/backpackers, we wanted a clean more spacey western style room at good value. The Chisun was all this, although of course spacey in Japan is different than the rest of the world... The location is excellent, close to the metro station on the line to Shinosaka station (for Shinkansen trains).... More

I'll start by saying that all hotels in Japan are small compared to Western standards. I do not count this against them. If tons of space is what you need, you should go to one of the major chains and pay a fortune. Chisun is located right in front of the Nagahoribashi Station on the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi subway line. If... More

Our aim for this hotel was somewhere conveniently located, affordable (we paid GBP 40, one night, double bed) and clean. It ticked these three boxes. It is not for anyone wanting a spacious, plush, romantic room. The hotel is less than 2 minutes walk from the subway station and has a supermarket just on the corner - convenient for snacks... More
