I'm originally from Albemarle and we return twice each year and stay at HIE. It's a good value, centrally located, and the staff are extremely friendly. “Very Nice”

This was a very, very nice hotel. My only issues (which were minor) were the water took forever to heat up, no Lifetime Movie Network and the lighting in the room was not very good. But everything else was very nice. I would definitely stay again.

The Holiday Inn Express in Albemarle retains its number one rating. Very friendly staff, clean rooms and a nicely maintained breakfast make this a fine choice for an overnight. After a bad experience here two years ago we gave it another try. A nice turn around experience created mostly by the positive attitude of the staff. We would definitely return.... More

“Best place to stay”

If you are in this area on business or for golfing as we were, this is your best bet. There are not a lot of choices, but the room here was large, clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and towels nice. Breakfast was above average for a hotel like this.

“Good Bang for Your Buck”

A little confusion on check in, they gave us a double queen room instead of a king. Front desk took quick care of it and gave us nice king room. “Stay here in Albermarle”

I just got back from a trip to Albermarle NC and I stayed at this Holiday Inn. It was very clean, the staff was friendly and as a single woman in a hotel, i felt completely safe. I think it's your best bet in the Albermarle area. Definitely 2 thumbs up!

“Nice place, but...”

The front desk personnel were very friendly. The hotel room was clean and the bed was so comfy! However, when I went to take a bath, there were hairs everywhere! I stopped counting after 10! Nice place, but they definitely need better cleaning for the bathroom/tub area.

in albemarle there are very few choices of national chains.i would advise against booking one of the local hotels with this holiday inn express being your best choice. the hotel is undergoing renovations and now has new flat screen tvs and upgraded bedding. the hotel staff is professional and courteous. the free breakfast buffet has enough choices to satisfy. applebees...
