I have used Travellers Palm on several occasions and have nothing but praise for Suzie and her super Guest house. It is calm and quiet at night with clean, air conditioned rooms and very good facilities to match. Breakfast is simple and a welcome start to any the day. The location is superb and Suzie makes a fabulus host, always... More

Very friendly place in the heart of Bukit Bintang, close to the monorail. It's down an alley just off the outdoor restaurant street, Jalan Alor -- good because it's quiet, bad because taxi drivers have trouble finding it (tell them to go to Radius International, just around the corner). The whole place is clean and well run. Double rooms are... More

This guest house has a really friendly feel, rooms and bathrooms are very clean, tea and coffee, free.. Cold drinks available at a very small cost.. I was catching the 5.30pm bus to Singapore and they allowed me to hang around all day until I was ready to leave.. Susan and Keith are friendly and provide a very warm and... More

We had a basic but clean and nice room with our own shower and shared toilet. Lovely owner Suzy makes you feel very welcome and she and Keith - a well travelled Brit who gives Suzy a hand at the guesthouse - can give you good tips about sightseeing, where to get good food and so on. The atmosphere is... More

Travellers Palm has all you need (breakfast, free internet, quiet location in the middle of the city, laundry service, nice small garden and balcony) for not too much money and location is very good too. Very good indian restaurant near too.

Simple, cheap hotel with good beds. I rented one bedroom, the sheets are clean, there's ceiling fan and aircon. The owner told the room has bathroom, but it turned out the bathroom just had shower in it, but no toilet. It was just odd to put a bathroom with no toilet. so you'll have to go to the common toilet... More

This is a small hostel that is seemingly run by one woman, Suzy. The facilities were basic but clean. I stayed in the 8 person dorm and rented a cheap storage locker. The dorm was small, quiet, clean, and dark. Everyone seemed to respect that the dorm was intended for sleeping and if you wanted to socialize, the courtyard was... More

We (2 adults with two kids 8 & 9) certainly did not expect that! We let know we were arriving around 2 PM. We are actually on time. Lodge is locked! No way in. Rang the bell...no answer. Gone next door to Check Mate. Indian Manager very helpful proposes to call up. Tells me lady is coming. Lady opens small... More

Where as I have booked this guesthouse (Travellers Palm) on line and paid a deposit for this booking one week before, the owner told me when arrived (after 15 hours of flight and one hour of taxi) that she had no more room because a group of 8 students has booked after me and has decided to stay one or... Travellers Palm is a relaxed oasis amidst the bustle of the Bukit Bintang area. It's a characterful old place with wooden floors and stairs. We (two adults and two children aged 10 and 7) stayed in the family room ('Ceria') there on two separate visits during April 2012. The owner, Suzy, is lovely - friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The outside... More
