I choose this hotel bcos it is near the masjid india shopping spree with every saturday there will be ‘Pasar Malam’ Night Market which start from 11am till 11pm. Selling all shots of things from food to apparel to households equipment. You mane it you will get to find it there. Been staying there since 5-6years ago & every time I went KL, will sure to stay there but now the standard had drop tremendously. With the change of management & the front desk worker works with no experience at all... when ask all they sat I don’t know. Sometimes get into my nerve. This august trip, i was billed 3 rooms which I only stayed there for 2 rooms only & ask them why they overcharged me & they reply. Under Booking.com they cannot amend the payment. This is ridiculous right. Actually I hv already cancelled 1 of the rooms but yet why they still charge me. Asking for refund from them & it was not a helping one. Till now im still waiting for refund. Pls make sure if u’re staying there, & u have some amendments on the rooms. Pls cancelled both & rebooking again. Cos this hotel workers so stupid that they do not know what to do later. This will be my last stay in Frenz Hotel. Will not stay there again.

Was reading through comments on booking cancellation. Didn’t expect that i would be experiencing it too. Never had this experience from other hotels using the same booking system. The explanation was so vague. Totally dissatisfied.

ON 10 Aug 2019, i booked to 2 rooms to check in(smoking room) for my dad and husband. Was told to pay full amount which include RM $100 security deposit which i paid of course..and was only told that i paid RM $50 during check out on 12 Aug 2019 as there is nothing in their system that i paid $100..no receipt was given to me either..hmm..thus the rooms no ashtray eventhou book a SMOKING ROOM and was told to open the window everytime my husband wanted to smoke..pfft room on the other hand was not even clean(see the picture) called up reception 2 time before the housekeeper(indonesian lady) came up looking very very unhappy. On top of that the fridge is not even working condition..called up again to ask maintence guy to change it for us..It has been very stressful and tiring for us to be kept calling up the receptionist for all those thing and if you love to take a risk..STAY AT THIS FRENZ HOTEL...the worst hotel i ever stayed in my entire life whenever i come to Kuala Lumpur..yes literally the WORST..pls do check on your receptionist (and indian lady that do check in on 10 Aug 2019 about 1.30pm) she might have taken the deposit money in her pocket and did not key in at the system of guest deposit..

Avoid at all cost!! They charge you full payment. Including 10% service charge + 6% tax! No other hotel does that! Upon walking into the room and opening the bathroom, two cockroaches ran into the shower. The cover to the drain was not available and we had to use the rubbish bin to cover the hole as I could imagine rats or other insects crawling up. See imagines!! HONESTLY that did not throw us off the hotel yet..... it was the fact that was no Wifi at all! When their advert and brochures clearly state high speed internet!! I asked reception about it, she asked me what phone I have? I said iPhone.. she said that’s why, Apple phones cannot connect to wifi here. Like what???!!!!! I’ve never heard of such nonsense! They must think we foreigners have stupid written on our foreheads! Later on.. approaching 11.30pm, still without internet we asked another receptionist, only to be told he will reset the internet and it should work in 15mins. To no avail. So basically we had no choice but to check out (only stayed one out of the four nights), as it was imperative for us to have access to the internet. The owner came out to help us only to be shown that the building wifi did not work on the higher levels either. We even showed him the cockroaches running around in another room they tried to offer us. The worst is yet to come! No refunds provided at all! If you haven’t provided me with a service, why should I pay you?! Pay you for what! In western countries you would never get away with things like that! The reception lady even tried to say it wasn’t her fault and she’s a worker and she doesn’t get paid. Well you have taken my money so technically you are getting paid for something your not doing. Ridiculous! The owner kept trying to tell us to contact the manager, he obviously does not think he has the power or authority to make that decision! What a joke!! Good luck to this run down hotel! Avoid avoid avoid!!!!!!!! They may advertise cheap on booking.com but they add all the fees on top when you check in and it’s more expensive than the other hotels you may consider.

Hotel in very bad conditions. In addition to that there are works on the road pavement just outside it, so the reception was looking shabby and dirty all the time. The Wi-Fi did not work in my room (7th floor). Personnel tried to help but not very successfully. The area is surrounded by permanent stalls of a street market, very noisy in the evening. At my arrival I was given a key of a room which was not made, still the traces of the previous guest!

i love this hotel as it is very near to the TAR market. it is just behind the hotel. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room is quite small but it doesn't matter to me as long as it is clean. I would definitely come back!

Some of the staffs are very kind but some are not. Room cleaning service should be improved in term of giving the toiletries because sometimes they only do the cleaning but did not top up the new toiletries. the pipe in bathroom should be changed too as it can cause a major wet when you are using it. for the breakfast package, it does not worth it. everyday you are only been served with the same menu (nasi lemak) which actually can cost you lower than the price you paid.

Very nice cheap Hotel, good room size, A/C works very well, bathroom ok, fridge, confortable beds, peacefull staying. The lady who apparently is the manager/owner is extremelly helpfull and cares about guests. Good localization, lots of shopping, restaurants, ATM around. Closer by metro and public transport. Safe did not work. Cleanliness could be better.

I booked the single room for 3 nights from 13-16/1/2019.I cannot tolerate anymore and moved out on 3rd day morning. The room assigned is filled with smoking smells. The staff done a lot spraying but it was useless. The air inside the room become a mixture of perfumes and cigarattes. The next day, I packed up my luggage and give back the room key to the receptionist. They said they will manage it. While I come back, they said they done the maintenance thoroughly but the smell was still obvious when I step in the room. The manager on duty is Mary, an Indian lady. She persuading me to stay in the same room or top up for room changing. It is ridiculous the hotel asking the guest to pay extra to rectify hotel problem. I gave a call to booking.com asking assistance. After long negotiations between booking.com and Mary, I was given 2 option, hotel will refund the 3rd day charges or I top up to upgrade room . While I proceed check out, supposed I should get back RM 57,1/3 of what I paid, the hotel only refund RM 41.they claimed the difference go to service tax and booking.com. It is too tiring to question anymore although I not believe at all. I thought this was the worst hotel I met ever, and soon they break new record. The hotel simply removed my review on booking.com and accused me not showing up for the reservation. This hotel management definitely has serious problem, wasting time to deal with them.

I feel very disappointed, because I was hoping for a good and nice room, but after a long journey all the way from sabah to KL with my family. I caught that the sheet is in a dirty condition. Smelly closet and Washroom. MOD should have check up the room 1 hours before giving the key to the guest, as a hotelier, for housekeeping, they should have make up the room and not leave it in a bad condition. you guys can see from the picture I snap last night, its like a nightmare.
