We stayed here after our trip to the NC Zoo. The suite was Ok for one night- the bathroom was close to the door to the hall so a bit inconvenient for those in the bedroom to walk through the living area where the pull out couch was. Obviously not their flagship hotel. But worth the stay. The first room we went into smelled of stale cigarettes so they moved us to a different room. Much better. Breakfast was good, coffee, tea and hot chocolate available all day. Cookies at night at front desk. More

I rate this a 4 out of 5 as compared to other hotels at a similar price point. If compared to just Hamptons, it would be a 3. From check-in to check-out, everything was great! Staff made sure everything was satisfactory; they even put out scrumptious cookies every afternoon, tasted homemade! My mother and I traveled to Asheboro to visit with family. We had a room with 2 Queen beds. It was clean, nice and spacious. The pool and hot tub were open and clean.
