We stayed in the cabins for our nephews wedding last weekend! The lake is so blue and beautiful. The cabins did need some work. The carpet and tile in ours was kinda disgusting! The kitchen cabinets were pretty spent! We had a mouse eat our butter! That being said we really had a great time. We called housekeeping for more... More

Many people don't like roughing it so maybe it shoulb be a 3 but I like it so I'll call it a 4. I have camped in tents and travel trailers also stayed in the cabins at Lake Murray over the last 40 years. I have always liked the lake. I have fished, done some water skiing including the ski... More

We arrived on a Tuesday afternoon the 2nd week in March. We realized there were many campgrounds, but coming in around 5:30, we didn't have time to search all the campgrounds. We made the decision to try Buzzards Roost, because it was on the water and recently renovated. There were only 3 waterfront (although its kind of up on a... More

Two couples along with my husband and I went back to Lake Murray after having a wonderful experience at the beginning of the year. We actually spent New Year's Eve there and it was very relaxing. We stayed in the single cabins and wanting to check out the larger cabins as we thought it would be good for family stays.... More

We chose this park randomly, we were leaving Dallas early afternoon and wanted to find somewhere not too far away. We checked our Allstays iPad app and this park was noted. As always we check out other 'campers' reviews and thought this one sounded pretty good. We arrived and were absolutely delighted! This park is an absolute gem! The sites... More

Lake Murray State Park is the largest state park in Oklahoma and the lake is wholly within that state park. It has a some rolling hills, a few rock outcroppings, and oak trees galore. It's probably the best place to rent a cabin within 1.5 hours of Dallas/Ft. Worth. The cabins are old but the one we stayed in has... More

Why? The water is blue beyond belief. The camp hosts are friendly. We saw a bald eagle and it was so quiet, we could hear wind on the wings of the crows that flew over us. We stayed at Elephant Rock and it is off season, so we were not bothered by the crowds that can happen during the summer.... More

By far one of the best and well maintained lakes of the Ardmore, OK. Very beautiful cabins to lodge and well maintained park with well preserved wildlife to call this park their home. Huge sand beaches and organized play areas for childre. Their marina is one of the largest I have seen with all variety of rentals. Beautiful in every... More

Have stayed here 3 times in the last 20 years. It is close to home and reasonably priced and pet friendly (cabins only) and a nice place to just get out of the house. We stayed in a one bedroom cabin with a fireplace that had been updated. It was very cute and pretty clean. The kitchen had been completely... More
