We stayed at the Super 8 Ashland on the first day of a two week road trip and found it to be everything you would expect from a Super 8: Clean, comfortable and well equipped rooms.
The only downside is it isn't too close to the city center or tourist area's. But they are only five or six minutes away,...

For the price we paid..I didn't.expect to find the mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The floor and walls were dirty.....or for the pool to be freezing cold....no hot tub here....wasn't much for a breakfast..cereal, bagels and toast..... We have stayed in a lot of super8's and usually have a great experience..so very disappointing...this one!

Place was not very nice. If you want hot water, run for at least 3-4 minutes. No tub drain.Mgr/ front desk clerk was notified of that fact, but didnt really give a darn. Place had maybe 6 cars in parking lot so we know they werent full and could have moved rooms for us, or at least gotten us a...

1. The toilet was not attached securely to the floor. You can easily pick it up. When I mentioned this to the front desk Saturday morning, I was assured it would be taken care of. Considering that this is both a safety and sanitation issue, I expected it to be fixed by the time I got in in the evening....

We've stayed at the Super 8 in Ashland several times. It's clean, comfortable and less expensive than most places in town. Plus, it's not far from the attractions in Ashland.

After several hours of driving Hwy 5, I was tired and chose this hotel because it was less like a motel than others nearby, that is, no exterior room entrances and hallways. The room itself was comfortable if small, and the king size bed took up most of the space. Still, the rate was acceptable and a continental breakfast was...

I've stayed at budget hotels before, and understand they are a "you get what you pay for" type deal." however, this experience was just unpleasant and very overpriced for a 1-2 star motel.
the wi-fi was down, the sheets paper thin, the pillows lumpy, the bed was very lumpy/springy. and the room needed a good deep cleaning, i dropped something...

Everything needs a thorough cleaning & renovation. Though touted as smoke free-- strong smell of smoke in the bedroom.
Sheets very thin & blankets all pilled up from wear.
Shower had NO hot water.
Went to "breakfast" at the last 10 minutes.. I knew that pickings would be slim but there was not even any coffee.

I would rather give this a 2 as in AAA 2-diamonds but that means "Poor" at TripAdvisor and that would not be accurate.
Normally we stay downtown (Bard's Inn) or sometimes the Ashland Springs Hotel or The Palm but this trip needed to be on a budget.
Pluses:
- nice front desk staff
- price was reasonable
- comfortable bed...
