Hubby and I are on a cross country trip. This establishment was in one of the travel coupon booklets. Upon entering the lobby, I knew we would have a nice stay. We planned on staying only 3 nights. (We ended up checking out after our original 3 night stay and then in the evening changed our plans and checked back... More

Even though a 2 star, we took a chance because this hotel is "new". On the outside, it appears to be very nice. We arrived to a lobby where "The Walking Dead" was blastin' on the tv (that was turned to the check-in desk). I'm glad that we didn't have "little ones", they would have been scared to death. The... Unknown Guest, I am amzed by your description of your recent stay at our hotel, and I would like to apologize for the lack of service. Our usual comments are more in the order of excellent housekeeping, and great customer service by the front desk I wish the comments were a little more specific, so that I could figure out... More

My bf and I were traveling through and needed a well-priced, decently located and VERY clean place (I've stayed in low-budget places before and they were terrible). This hotel was all of these things. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the room and hotel lobby were both clean and new-looking. I didn't get a chance to try out the... More

First time to this hotel. We were traveling with friends and they booked it. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Price was great! Hallway smelled bad the entire time we were there. But that is the only complaint. More

After voicing my complaints many times about lack of grab bars in showers, a motel manager recommended that I ask for a handicapped room, which has lots of grab bars. I tried it this time and realized that I made a mistake. The room was clean and well-equipped for someone wheelchair-bound, but it was necessarily spartan. For example, there was... More

This was my first visit to this hotel chain. The staff were very nice and helpful in every way. The room was very affordable for one night stay. At other hotels, I would have had to pay higher for a room such as this one. The room accomodations were very clean and well equipped including hookup for labtop use and... More

Basic rooms. Clean/ well stocked rooms, comfy beds, cable, internet, cont. breakfast. Very Kind staff. 10 Minutes to Clemson University. Great rate ($50/night). The hotel is "between" owners right now. The bank owns the hotel. BUT... It is being well cared for. More

Upon checking in the man gave us fresh-baked cookies to take to our room. The entire hotel was very clean and comfortable. We were only there for one night but our stay was wonderfully quiet and restful. The staff went out of their way to help and when we asked to check out a little later than the scheduled time... More

This may not be a common occurrence but the first room they placed me in had a roach and that is absolutely unacceptable. To be fair, the manager placed me in another room and took off a few dollars from my total but when I pay money for lodging I expect the best! Also, I would tend to agree with... More

This Microtel is much nicer than the other Microtels I have stayed in. It is new and they did a nice job. The room is comfortable and up to date. Everything works well and the price and value are great. One tip, ask early for linens for the pull out bed if you need to use it. We called late... More
