While the outside of the building looks almost historic (as well as some of the exhibits inside), they have done a very nice job of upgrading the interior and ammenities to make if feel modern and comfortable. There were several restaurants around the hotel, and it was easy to get around town from the central location.

I bid on Priceline for a room in the downtown area and actually got this amazing Marriott property for 50 plus tax!! My husband and I found this motel very clean, comfortable and roomy ! Perfect for what we needed. In fact, we then sought out other Marriot Hotels on our road trip from Dallas to Las Vegas. I wasn't mad on the cafe downstairs, but we we're Aussies travelling in USA so a lot of things are different for us.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times. Request the Santa Fe side for the best view. My husband personally calls them and we have always gotten a better rate. Clean and quiet. They have a downstairs cafe and the food is good. Starbucks coffee a plus. We enjoy walking to Acapulco's for dinner. I also enjoy watching the downtown.... More
