This hotel is an old apartment complex turned into a hotel. It is a much older property and the rooms are dated. We used to stay at this hotel when it was Northpark Suites. That was about 15 years ago. Back in the day, the rooms were clean, there was a full library of free videos for the kids, the pool and hot tub worked, and breakfast was good. This hotel is an excellent location for me with family in the area; however, it is only a 20 minute drive to downtown Austin. The breakfast isn't what it used to be but I guess every one is cutting corners now-a-days. Shop around for a discount price - well worth it. Friendly staff. They make every effort to please.
