We found the Days Inn on the net and read trip advisor. It was just as advertised. Difficult to access, run down neighborhood (but safe), old facility, very reasonably priced, nice breakfast bar, pool, clean and cheap laundry, large new 40" flat screen TV w/HBO & 2, coffee service in the room and lobby, free Wi-Fi internet (fast), fridge and... We stayed in this great little motel while in Austin. Got a great rate, really cheap price, which also included an OK breakfast in the morning. Location was great, right on I-35 & 183, just north of UT & Austin downtown. We were on the 3rd floor, very quiet, but slow elevator. Used the small swimming pool, which was OK.... More

I stayed here 2 nights and everything went smoothly. All the staff members were very helpful and very nice. The breakfast was wonderful with many different hot and cold foods and drinks. The room had all the amenities you ever need: microwave, refrigerator, iron, toiletries, black-out drapes, etc., etc. I would absolutely stay here again for the great service provided.... More

Front doors were dirty. Lobby floor was filthy. Desk manager was indifferent. Room was not ready on time. 30 min later went in. Stunk! Carpet was damp all over. Window was torn away from the molding where anyone could just crawl in. Clientele looked like from a 3rd world country. Apparent prostitute met us in the parking lot when we... More

Be prepared to go up/down stairs with your luggage even after you take elevator to your floor. The floors have about six rooms grouped on a tier system, so you go up/down about four steps at each tier, depending on how far you are from the elevator. More

Room decor very dated.....sink in room (not bathroom) without counter space...worn bed comforter and carpet. No major cleanliness issues. Noise from I-35 not a problem bc AC was so loud. Front desk person was not friendly--never once smiled.....charged an extra $10 to get a room with two beds. More

Stayed 2 nights while visiting Austin and San Antonio, got room on Priceline so was $35 per night + tax. Place is old and rather decrepit but staff is OK and the room was clean and neat and bed comfortable. A/C worked better than in some of the 4 star hotels I have been staying at. Try it, is OK. More

Look, just dont stay here. Unless, your not really going to stay here and just need like 3 hours of sleep a night. Its dirty, it smells, and the place is full of noise. The lobby smelled of mold and filth. The halls smelled of mold and filth. The rooms were tiny, smelly and the comforter had burn holes in... More
