We rolled up in a taxi at 11:30 pm and valet outside was asleep standing at podium. We called for help to take bags out of the trunk and he ran in to get the porter instead of helping. We took them out ourselves. I had booked three rooms ( great deal on priceline's name your own price), no problem... More

A great place to stay while in the DC area, the staff is fantastic (as at all Westins) efficient, the views are great, the rooms are very nice and I enjoy staying here. On the down side, they charge you to park there on top of their high room rates and to add insult to injury-They charge you daily for... More

Conveniently located to Ballston Metro, Ballston Mall and great local dining! The onsite restaurant is outstanding in itself! Downsides are the fees for internet and short indoor pool hours (closed at 10pm!). Rooms were clean and well appointed. Our stay was booked through Priceline's "Name Your Own Price" which was approximately 50% of the rack rate. That being said I... More

Really wanted to like this hotel... We did love the location, but it was very disappointing how they nickel and dime you for everything. You pay for Internet and the "free" computers in the lobby are only accessible for 45 minutes per day per room. Luckily, the Starbucks next door has free wifi. No continental breakfast, no complimentary coffee in... More

Stayed here two nights on business. Had a lot of small problems which they tried hard to fix but these should not have been there in the first place. Here is a summary of the problems and fixes: (a) my original room had no working AC. When I called down from the room they never answered the phone I had... More

$500 for two nights, and I had to pay for Internet and breakfast. The room was comfy but nothing special. The staff was fine, the location was good. But the price was pretty high for OK, especially since I had to pay for extras. More

The good -Great location with plenty of touristy bars/restaurants around -Nice hotel, big rooms, basic gym and a decent pool The not so good -The hotel restaurant advertises dollar oyster on Friday nights. Unfortunately, we made the mistake of actually believing he ad (I know, our fault completely) so we were actually looking forward to it. Needless to say, when... More

We were in town visiting friends that already had a house full of people so we stayed here for 3 nights. We were hardly ever in the hotel, but when we were it was enjoyable. We traveled with our 2 year old and when I inquired about bed rails to keep her from rolling out of bed they looked at... More

Well, let's see my stay began with politely asking about the local restaurants. The desk worker kindly directed me to the concierge telling me, he will know, I just don't eat in the area. Fair enough, I walk over and ask the concierge who handed me a list. I inquired, do you have any recommendations? He basically says they are... More
