Spent a long four days here, though you can probably do alright with two or three. Had an excellent guide, and really enjoyed the excursions. Some activities are not included in the package pricing, but are very reasonable and so worth the extra (visiting the lily pads, the floating homes of the locals, piranha fishing). Employees were all very kind... More

The lodge met our expectations. the food was good. We were there for three days. In that time we really felt that we were experiencing life in the jungle. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. The guides were very friendly and helpful. The river experience and jungle walks were an excellent introduction to the Amazon.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of an Amazon add-on to a Brendan tour. We didn't expect deluxe accomodations. There were some quirkly things about the room, but the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The buffet meals were excellent. We got to be in a jungle setting with lots of wildlife, exactly what we... More

The lodge is located right in the forest / jungle and allows guests to experience something of life in the jungle. The rooms are basically wooden huts. Do not expect the comfort of a luxurious hotel, but in the rooms there are comfortable bed, toilet, bath and closets. The service of the staff is excellent (remarkable Jacob, receipt), knowledgeable guides... More

The lodging is in a natural environment with a scenic walk from the pier. The rooms were nice even though the AC was noisy so you'll have to turn the AC off and open the window (with mosquito netting) if you can't sleep with noise. Breakfast and dinner were included but you had to get there early before the food... More

We were on a cruise ship but booked a bungalow room through Booking.com at a great rate, though as expected, the transfers (car/boat) from Manaus centre were relatively expensive (arranged direct with the Lodge). Could have taken local taxi to the marina and paid for boat separately. BUT our trip cost a lot less than the cruise company's tour price!... More

If you are looking for the hardcore jungle survival trip, this is not the solution. The "hotel" is located at a small river bank, and is equipped with beach chairs, a bar, a restaurant, an understocked shop and a pool. It is more in line with a luxury tourist resort, than a bare-bones jungle lodge. The place is very spacious,... More

Stayed as part of a South American tour. Lodge is accessed by boat from Manaus. Setting is scenic with view of river and forest. Although the lodge is on the edge of the jungle the isolation makes it feel far from civilisation. There are lots of colourful birds and animals wandering the premises which add to the jungle effect -... More

Be very careful leaving your belongings at the front desk for safe keeping. They will tell you that it is safe and we fell for it. I left my wallet with credit cards via the "secure system" which they claimed to have and my credit cards were duplicated and the PIN numbers were extracted. They attempted numerous transactions. All failed... More

We stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of our S American tour. The location was great as it was far from the river and any other hotels or businesses. Amazing though was the lack of any wildlife! The tours were poor as they included a hike to a monkey rehabilitation center. We only saw them as they were being... More
