We stayed 2 nights in the Pousada das Flores and really enjoyed it. The pousada is in an old buiding with lot of character and charm. The team and owner are very nice with lots of usefull advices. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of fresh fruits and juices. We highly recommand this hotel.

Stayed three nights at the Pousada das Flores. Hotel has lots of character and is in an old restored building in Santo Antonio, about a 10 minute walk from the Pelourinho. Please note that the poussada has been built 17 years ago so what you think is a closet while looking at the pictures is in fact your bath room. This pousada is heaven. It dates back to the 1700s and has been beautifully preserved. The staff are extremely friendly and willing to help. We stayed for 5 nights and were upgraded for free. The room with the balcony is a wonderful oasis from some of the sketchiness of Salvador.

Booked this pousada online for carnival, paying much higher rates because of this, which was fine.
