Spent 10 nights in october at the Pousada Encanto. Met the owners, who were lovely people. as were the staff. Very friendly, very helpful and very professional. overall my stay was made even better in Itapua thanks to everyone here. Will defintely come back again. Not the biggest of hotels but very intimate.

The room was very small compared to the other places we stayed in, especially given the price and location. Didn't really think it was value for money but it's a good place for people who just want a place to sleep. On a good note, Daniel who worked at the pousada was very friendly and helpful. Spent 5 days at the pousada in April 2012 with family of 8 people. Extremely friendly, very serviceminded staff. Very comfortable if you want to see beaches north of Salvador but don't want to go to Praia da Forte, which is waste of time. Quiet neighbourhood and chance to mingle the locals.

My husband and I spend several wonderful days at pousada Encanto. The owners are very helpful, staff is very firendly and excellent service, most of them speak english. Overall a great experience.
