“Nice, but a little over priced”

We booked this through booking.com for a 4 night stay, but ended up staying just one night. We were expecting to pay $130/night, but the overall cost in the end with the extras for double occupancy, wifi, and taxes brought it up almost to $200/night. The Royal Savassi is a friendly hotel with extremely good food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are a joy. Wifi access is a bit complicated and not everybody speaks English But all in one a place to go! More

I stayed hosted three days in this hotel and I was very pleased with the service offered. The room is comfortable, has glasses with protection for the noise and the bathroom is appropriate. We stayed at the Royal Savassi in Belo Horizonte from July 22, 2011 to July 25, 2011. The hotel is centrally located near restaurants, shopping and downtown. Super friendly and helpful staff. Thanks for making me feel so welcome. Internet good but you need an ethernet cable. No wifi. My reservation clearly stated that internet access was included in the price but staff twice insisted that I had to pay $R15/day. Really hard work work on both occasions to get the issue resolved. I have been at Royal Savassi Hotel for 3 months in 2008, more 3 months in 2009 and for a few weeks on january 2010. It`s definitely a great hotel in a lot of ways. The best of this hotel is the staff. The are very kind, polite and try to do the best for the guest to feel confortable.... More

I have to say I disagree with previous comment. I have stayed at the royal savassi a few times now, and it has always been clean, quiet and very pleasant to stay in. This hotel is professional in showing their unprofessional service. The standard of service is the worst you can expect. This is probably run by people, who just got promoted from running a Motel and it clearly shows their lack of experience running a hotel.
