The staff do not speak (even a very basic level of) English. So that created difficulties to begin with. The reception area probably looked great 30 years ago, but it has become neglected and tired. Spent here 3 nights on my backpacking trip across Brazil. The hotel is in an excellent location. Stop of Airport Shuttle Bus just 100m around the corner.
