This used to be a Best Western Hotel. The key cards still have the logo on it. Was recommended by a friend (who I will strangle twice over when I next see him!) My list of BAD: -Poor Location. -Staff although friendly, hardly spoke english -Full of Coach Parties. The pool was full of screaming kids and groups of loud... More

The rooms were basic but clean and the breakfast had a nice spread. The only issue was breakfast is generally included in the rates but they open only at 6:40 in the morning and that is quite late by South American standards especially if you want to have morning tea/coffee before you set out for the tours. Service was nice,... More

i am used staying in 4 or 5 star hotels but this hotel was a unique experience, there was a covered hole in the wall that gave the impression that you where genuinly living on the street ! Needless to say that lack of pillows and a hard matress added to that special feeling ...and of course an alarm that... More

I traveled in South America: Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile. At hotels, the 4 stars are well below European levels. Another general problem: very poor internet connection. Watch your pockets in the street in Brasil. Hotel is not so important, main is that it is very close to a marvel of nature: Iguassu Falls. The staff are friendly and... More

I agree with previous reviewers that there's not much to celebrate in this assembly-line hotel: nothing terrible, nothing memorable (except truly excellent caipirinhas served by the attractive pool). The room was large but without character, a little shabby (one shelf was broken), a view of nothing worth looking at, with excessive charges for things that should have been free (wifi,... More

We stayed here for two nights and really did not enjoy it. The rooms were low-quality and a little sketchy. We arrived after midnight and once we got to our room we realized that we had to go to the front desk to get the key to the safe. however, once we went into the hall, the lights didn't come... More

The only negative comment I can say about this hotel is its location. It is a short drive out of town but a 20 mins (or so ) drive to the falls. Apart from that, the staff are friendly and helpful, the room was a good size and clean. More

very commercial hote, with overpriced services (internet, massages,...). The location is the worst part, hence the service, not of good quality, are not enough (mediocre restaurant and breakfast). Would look for something better, especially for the food. The room itself is not bad, the personnel a bit rude in my view. More

The hotel is good, although not great --not what I'd expect for a 4-star hotel. The building has a seventies look, but everything is well maintained and clean. The rooms are large and comfortable, although the TV offers scant channels with good reception. The pool looked lovely although we didn't get to try it (August is winter after all!). People... More
