After a horrible experience in a hell hole in RJ I booked my self in to a 3 nights stay at Mata Nativa Pousada and the place exceed my expectations. I had a lovely hut with a large double bed en suite air con and a fridge. there was also a hammock on the veranda which was excellent for reading... More

Mata Nativa.. What can I say? I really loved this place! :) We stayed there for 3 nights and had a little house with 4 beds just for the two of us. There's not so much space inside, but everything was clean and that's the most important thing. The area of Mata Nativa is so beautiful.., there are so many... More

I read few comments here and it's kinda difficult to believe how bad their stay was. I stayed at Chale #6 and it was so good. First of all, the chale's really cute, enough space for 2 ppl, the bed's big enough for european people unlikely all other brazilian standard beds (although it wasn't very comfortable but good for those... We stayed here as part of gap adventures and what a dive!!!! There were some nice open fresh smelling rooms that we were not a part of, instead they accommodated us in a small urine smelling dive of a room up the back of the property. When we complained about it we were told that this was the smell of... More

After staying at another place, which did not have an electricity generator we ended up here in hope for a warm shower and some light. We stayed for 4 nights- POS: the rooms are nice and clean, interior is modern and functionally. The hot shower is not quite as hot, but at least not col. As mentioned the place has... More

First impressions are of a tropical paradise - A-frame bungalows in lush gardens. However, I didn't stay in one but in a shared room in the main block. These can best be described as spartan. A single dingy overhead light was too dim to read by. There was a ceiling fan with optional a/c. The bathroom was small and a... More

We stayed here as part of a G Adventure (GAP) tour on our journey from Rio to buenos aires. The accommodation is lovely and clean. I was very fortunate I was allocated a querky little cabin on my own which had lovely bathroom and safe and airconditioning. The breakfast wasn't included in the price and to be honest I deemed... I bring all of my groups here and I say it's perfect for anyone. They have cabanas a beautiful garden, BBQ pit and a pool! The rooms are clean and there is free wifi. It's off the main road so it doesnt get too noisy. And the breakfast is amazing! They also serve cake, coffee and tea every afternoon for... More

Im not a picky person, but Im into having the basic things, and I think hot water it's important, must of all when the weather its not as warm as supposed to be on a beach area. I was a part of a tour of Gadventures, the Iguazu and beyond.

The Pousada is beautiful and just off the main drag so it was a little quieter than other places. We stayed in one of the cabins towards the back. I would recommend spending a few extra dollars for them as there are rooms in the main building that our friends stayed in and they weren't nearly as nice. There's a... More
