POSITIVE: Staff helpful and courteous. Breakfast good, with fruit and fresh juices. NEGATIVE: The hotel is old and expensive for what it offers (European price, but a 3rd world hotel). Rooms with little comfort. Old and uncomfortable beds and furnitures. Some rooms are not accessible by elevator. CONCLUSION: AVOID.

Lousy hotel, horrible rooms and unpleasant staff. And rooms over 90 euros per night. This is how ridiculous the hotel prices are in Rio.
