the hostel is led by very incompetent and unfriendly people , unfortunately also the room was horrivel, breakfast was okay....there are a lot of better hostels around, like ipanema beach house and mango tree

This hostel is located on a mosquito breeding ground. An easy and relatively inexpensive fix would be to install air conditioning or at least window screens to keep these pesky blood sucking varmints outside. Another alternative would be for the staff to inform you of the terrible mosquito problem and provide complementary bottles of insect repellent spray upon arrival.

This place is ill-kept and has bed bugs. A refund was requested but not issued. Stay elsewhere.
