Speaking of dancing, it is at 10 minutes drive by bus or subway from the well known bohemian district of Lapa, where the bars thrill with live music, not to mention the famous arcs built in 1750. So, there are hundreds of options, but if you prefer only to pour some beers, Dafoca bar, on the other side of the street, at half a minute walk is full of students (there are three universities in the area) ready to tell you how a Carioca (the natives from Rio de Janeiro) like to spend their moments and what’s their lifestyle like in the most marvelous city of Brazil.
