This hotel in located in the Barra section of Rio, in the middle of a condominium complex. The front desk staff are not particularly helpful, the food in the dining room for dinner is mediocre at best , the breakfasts are below the traditional fullsome Brazilian breakfast and the bedroom is again, average. Be careful in the shower: there are... More

The hotel is hard to find if you come by car (no indication). It is located in one of the most secure part of the city but far from all the main city points of interest and beach. Service is correct but sometimes a little slow. The room is simple but clean with a small balcony. The bathroom is ridiculously... More

I arrived my trip in Rio de Janeiro and due to holidays the city centre was fully booked. So this was more or less a last resort for me. It is far far away from everything. The hood 'Barra' itself feels like being in the States. If you don't have a car, you need a cab because walking is not... More

We stayed at the hotel from Nov 3rd until Nov 6th, the rooms were nice, service is not great and hotel is far away from everything. If you stay here, rent a car so you can go to other places. Everything in RJ nowadays is overpriced and we were surprised with the prices and quality of services... We do not... More

The hotel is good overall. Room size is excellent and the furniture comprises a working table and balcony. Internet is good and free to access in rooms. Bed is large and confortable, shower is nice. The location, inside a condominium, makes it quiet. Breakfast is good (fruits, eggs, juices, milk, coffee, cakes, cereals, breads, cheese, etc). Staff is attentive. However,... More

My room in this hotel was fantastic. It was large, it had a nice bed, a good-sized desk, large closets, and a marble-floor bathroom. The furniture was made of fine quality wood. The flat-panel TV was quite large. In short, this is a luxury hotel and you have to pay good money for it, but it's worth it. The hotel... More

The room is spacious and with a desk for a confortable computer usage. Although I have asked for a double bed (I am a tall man!), when I arrived they gave me a twin room. The housekeeper went there to put them togheter and that was "fine" for one night. Another issue is that the flat TV was too small... More

This hotel is outside of Rio in a community of luxury condos owned or rented by families. It's very safe, quiet, clean, and lovely, but if you want the craziness of the city, this place is not for you.
