The food are too simple and the butter is worst quality. I never stayed in Copacabana Palace, but all others Hotels in Cocapacaba are too expensive and too bad! Old and expensive. The internet is delay. More

The hotel is near Copacabana - but good location is its only advantage. Rooms are dirty and smell awful. No basic service - even a teapot. Furniture is old, no cleaning. Breakfast is ok and with a pleasant seaview. There are jacuzi on the roof but they are dirty. Fitness center is old and shaby. More

We stayed at Miramar Palace during the Carnaval- while it was very overpriced, I understand all Rio hotels rates were tripled during that time and value was hard-to-find. Having said that the quality of the rooms really underwhelmed. What I held against them was the poor & uninterested service at the front desk (save for one lady who wore glasses... More

We were booked into this hotel at the end of a cruise around South America. We were travelling with friends. The hotel is on the seafront on Copacabana beach. It is handy for the beach and for restaurants. The staff were pleasant The public areas of the hotel are clean and fresh. The rooms that we stayed in were horrid.... More

The Windsor Miramar Palace Hotel is a traditional hotel in Rio de Janeiro, established in the 50's. I stayed there several times in 2009. Like many other places there are pros and cons. The staff was very friendly and helpful at every opportunity, the cuisine is very good as well, rooms are spacious with an awesome view to the beach...... More

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent and its location on the beach was ideal for beautiful views. However, the neighborhood is a bit overrun and the room itself was quite inadequate. There were ants in the room and the internet was spotty and slow. Most of the rooms had a balcony off the side of... More

I stayed at the Miramar Palace Hotel (aka “W”—I think for Westin) for three nights as part of a Tourlite International group tour. The tour group (which I would not recommend) selected the hotel. The tour guide reiterated daily how wonderful and sought after this hotel was. I think she was trying to convince us that we were actually in... More

Really a great deal for Rio. The rate is relatively cheap and the location is amazing. The service was good and the room was a nice size and clean. I stayed for 8 days and had no problems (except the first night I saw a tiny little Iguana in the room but that may be expended in a tropical environment)!... More

I stayed here together with a friend earlier this month! We had one of the beachfront rooms, facing copacabana beach. The room was spacious, but it had an old and dampy smell to it. The room also seemed worn out. The curtains were old, and we couldn't get the shades to work. Airconditioning also didn't work on our arrival, but... More

Also known as Windsor Miramar Hotel, Windsor is a large chain of hotels in Rio that has several properties around city, the hotel is a good choice for its location and service, which is always very attentive and concerned. However, as many hotels in Rio, some of the infrastructure is reminescent of older eras and some of the areas in... More
