The Leblon hotel was wonderful, the cost was low and they have very good food
Arrived on a day with temps in the high 80's. First room, A/C not working...moved to another room..A/C not working... as compensation moved to suite. A/C tempermental. Things tolerable until 6th day...NO WATER...ALL DAY, finally came on the next morning after breakfast. (How did they prepare breakfast??) Not the friendliest staff either.
The Leblon Palace is three (long) blocks from the beach. The neighborhood is upscale, with good restaurants and shops. The hotel is spotless; rooms are large; service is excellent. A complimentary breakfast is served in its 2d floor dining room, open all day, and 24-hour room service is available. My only complaint is that the hotel has only two elevators;...
