Awful smell in the corridor, bad smell in the room, very small room (room nr.14360), slow service in the dinning room. Try to avoid it!! More

Let's start by saying that we arrived very late in the evening (transatlantic flight) and we were very tired after a 17 hours trip... we had already made the reservations for a double standard room and we were very eager to go to bed. When we arrived in the room we did not know whether to cry or to laugh...... More

The recently renovated rooms are very comfortable. Wonderful swimming pool, in front of the Beach and mountains. Breakfast is Good but expensive. Close to a Nice shopping center with Good restaurants. More

In my opinion this is a pretty good hotel, for what you pay for. It's impossible to find an ocean-front hotel at less than 120$, and this hotel was only two blocks away from the beach, so it was a good compromise. The surrounding area seems safe; we never really had any issues in Sao Paulo were we felt unsafe.... More

Overall hotel is ok. However considering the price (170€ a night prepaid) you would expect a lot more. Room was very basic, no special furniture, old TV, bathroom was in almost decent conditions. Favela view not expected which made it pretty noisy! Location: positive is the fact that you're close to Copacabana. However you're not on the seaside but a... More

Every floor smelt. Food was poor, rooms basic. The view from the pool (which was clean) was the best feature. Handy for the beach but few restaurants nearby. More

This hotel is a block off the leme end of copacabana beach and is a great value for the area. The rooms are adequate and clean and the housekeeping service is very good. A lot of flight crews stay here so late checkouts (2pm) are ok with them. The front desk and bell staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The... More

During 40 years of travelling I have never stayed in a worse room. My most serious concern was lack of signage for fire exits and fire exits which were blocked - very worrying when you are staying on high level floors. The public areas were satisfactory and breakfast was ok but once you go up to the bedroom floors it... More

We stayed for a week in this hotel. Overall it was good but nothing special. The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly, most spoke some English which was helpful for me! My Brasilian fiancee acted as my translator most of the time. When we arrived we discovered our room was not sea facing as we were expecting. A quick... More

Good location, only one block from the famous Copacabana beach. The food was good and there was nice variety for breakfast, the customer service wasn´t too bad. However, our room and bathroom was never cleaned properly, they always somehow managed to miss the obvious empty water bottles, and our dirty cutlery. 3 out of the 7 days we stayed, we... More
