Stayed here with a group for work. The rooms are extremely stale and univiting. Windows have metal shades on them. Mine was broken and couldnt open so it was like being in a cell. Staff is not impressive and seem to be irritated to assist guests. Hallways are rundown. Unfortunately does not look good for Holiday Inn. More

Just returned from a one week trip to Porto Alegre. I've little negative to say about the hotel. It's located on a busy street but there're no streets in Porto Alegre which wouldn't be packed at rushhour. I had an excellent room on the 10st floor. This Holiday Inn is on one of the main streets in Porto Alegre and is easy to get to/from. They have a full buffet breakfast (scrambled eggs, etc.) and the hotel is very clean. They have two sections (towers), and I ask to stay in the tower to the left of the entrance (newer, bigger rooms). More

Find good hotels in Porto Alegre isn't easy. This hotel is old with large rooms but carpet. The bathroom is dark like the restaurant. More

Great location and big rooms (stayed in a double room with two queen beds). Breakfast is great, with lots of tropical fruits. However, the rooms are a little bit old and in need of a small reform. More

The good part of big hotel chains is that you know that there will be a good service (mostly) and this is not an exception. Enjoy the nice and super quiet rooms all equiped and with a great service. More
