The toillet smells urine, the mobilia are like 50 years ago, the room's door simply won't open, the restaurant doesn't open for lunch or dinner, the entire hotel smells fungus and the gran finalle, the service is made by 18 year-old amateurs.

Really nice place, good price/service relation and some of the staff speaks english, but Florianopolis itself can be a bit boring. Especially finding a place for dinner can be quite a challange in Florianopolis. If you wanna stay in twon, stay there, if you wanna see the island rent a car and stay in more remote places, e.g. the lagoon...
