The toillet smells urine, the mobilia are like 50 years ago, the room's door simply won't open, the restaurant doesn't open for lunch or dinner, the entire hotel smells fungus and the gran finalle, the service is made by 18 year-old amateurs. Got this place for just under R$202 per night which is a bit of a bargain for this part of Brazil. We stayed in town thinking there were more options for nightlife but that proved incorrect. Luke a previous reviewer said, I can be tricky to find somewhere to eat on town, but places do exist in the Baira Mar... More

Really nice place, good price/service relation and some of the staff speaks english, but Florianopolis itself can be a bit boring. Especially finding a place for dinner can be quite a challange in Florianopolis. If you wanna stay in twon, stay there, if you wanna see the island rent a car and stay in more remote places, e.g. the lagoon... More
