I've stayed in Hotel Moncloa from Apr 9th ~ 14th for business. I can tell you from my personal experience, their manager / reception staff members provide the best services and I couldn't have asked for anymore. I love their free breakfast and freshly brewed coffee for breakfast. They also serve free coffee after two in the lobby - a... More

Located only about a kilometer off Av. Paulista, the Hotel Moncloa is a very nice budget hotel. The public areas are spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable, however, the breakfast room is a bit cramped, but works nonetheless. Breakfast itself is simple, but exactly what you expect from budget accommodations, and more than enough to get your day started. Our accommodation... More

We were first shocked by the surroundings of the of the hotel, run down houses full of graffiti, sex shops and night clubs. The hotel itself, however, was OK for the price we paid. The reception desk staff was very helpful and spoke good English. The walls are paper thin and therefore nights are noisy. Although the hotel is on... More

This hotel was the big suprise for me. Because facilities and service was excellent. But if you pay more attention to decoration, you can say easily this is fith class hotel. Adavantages: 1. Very wide rooms, 2. Big balcony, 3. Very big wardrobe (Like dressing room along with mirror and seperate door), 4. Good breakfast, 5. Free and fast internet... More

Despite giving it only 3 out of 5 this was better than average. It was clean and well decorated. The location was not bad but the there are a few seedy looking establishments down the road. Our room was modern and suited us fine, we were here for one night as a stopping point at the start of our Brazil... More

This hotel is smack dab between the old downtown (city center) and 'new downtown' avenida paulista. It is about 5 blocks to the Paulista financial district with it's upscale hotels and shops. Going the other direction it is a 7 minute cab ride to the old city downtown. The street the hotel is on holds a vibrant street scene and... More

I stayed here with me and my boyfriend for 6 days. The room was nice, spacious and had a balcony; however, service was horrible. The toilet would not flush (we had to hold the handle 2-3 minutes before it flushed). My boyfriend told the staff and they said they would send someone to fix it. No one came. The next... More

Absolutely horrendous. The rooms were terrible, the floors made of cheap wood, a window the size of a postage stamp, scalding hot water that came out of the shower, a drain in the bathroom which was a good thing as the shower was so poorly built, water streamed out of it, almost flooding the bathroom. The bed linen was of... More

Strategically located in heart of Sao Paolo Zona Nocturna. Otherwise not near anything and a hike to the nearest Metro. Hotel is not new and was not built to a first class standard, and rooms unrenovated and cheaply furnished, but are kept in good enough repair. Comfortable bed with high quality linens. Rooms away from the street are spacious, quiet... More
