Arriving from Bolivia we were a little shocked at the prices of accommodation in San Pedro, and this was on the cheaper side (25000 per night for a double room). Our room was on the smallish side but the bed was comfortable. There are 4 shower rooms available and 3 are at the other end of the hostel, it felt... More

We are long term travelers with basic needs - general level of cleanliness and enough space for our (minimal) stuff. We had took the cheapest room we could find, which was still 25k pesos ($50). This was really expensive for what you get, but then again, that is all of SPA. The room was two twin beds without bathroom (cheapest... More

We had two nights at the Hotel Dunas (which was great) but had to extend our stay in San Pedro by a night due to some transportation problems. Hotel Dunas was full, and after checking a few other hotels that were also full, we found this hotel/hostel. Our room was a double with private bathroom, and cost more than the... More

We stayed in a room with private bathroom. The room was nice and clean. The courtyard with hammocks is very nice. The drawback was the price... a bit much even for SPA. More

We spent three nights at this hotel, located just off the main tourist strip. The rooms were small but clean and lots of bathrooms scattered about the hotels for those guests who didn't have privates. The best part of the hotel was the courtyard, with comfortable hammocks, picnic tables and trees - this was a nice little oasis from the... More

We went here on advice from our bus driver from Calama. My friend asked to see the room first, and she looked at the mattress, under the sheets and found a bed bug under the mattress. We walked out immediately. Don't stay here unless you want bed bugs! More

Heaps of bathrooms which were constantly being cleaned. Spacious courtyard with chairs and hammocks. Helpful manager. Beds were particulary comfortable. Only complaint is that the communal kitchen facilities were tiny and there was only a handful of kitchen equipment and utensils. More

If I remember well a double room was 20000 pesos, which for the San Pedro standards is low. We found it because we were walking around all fully booked hostels and they had a room from the next day on. We stayed a week and liked it. Nice room, double with shared bathrooms (so-so). They have two computers with internet... More

Eden Atacameno is one of the more budget places offering basic rooms with share bathrooms; use of a communal kitchen and a wifi connection. When we stayed there in December 2009, it cost 8000 pesos per person per night for these simple amenities. The garden area in the front is nicely set out with hammocks, tables and chairs to relax... We enjoyed our stay at Eden. We stayed in a a basic, small room with a double bed and shared bathroom. The courtyard is very nice with hammocks and tables. The shared bathrooms were great, brand new and immaculately clean. The water was heated by gas and very hot. There was free wifi which worked well, and two computers to... More
