I made the trip in december last year, and the place was very decent. Clean rooms and nice food. Location wise it is nicely placed. it is just a 1 Km trek to one of the peaks where you can see the sunrise. The staff were very friendly. I will definitely recommend if you are visiting Mount Huangshan.
