Stayed for 3 nights in June 2012. Location: excellent for the beach (5 minute walk). Longer walk into town on lovely promenade (about 15-20 minutes). 150 kunas (20 euros) to rent 2 loungers & 1 parasol (50 kunas each). Free shuttle to/from the harbour. And if arriving in Supetar, just catch one of the shared mini-vans instead of the bus... More

Had just 2 nights at this hotel in a sea view room - as other reviewers have mentionned this isn't really a sea view. You can just about see the sea but the main view is of the car park and the rest of the hotel. However I don't think we paid any extra for this. This is the closest... More

Enjoyed our stay at Zlatni Rat. The location couldnt have been more perfect...right in front of the beach and a 10-15 min from Bol itself. Rooms are big but on the bland side, breakfast was good and their restaurant served quite decent pasta! They were extremely helpful, even letting us stay half the day for a small fee and organizing... More

Our room was large and very clean. They arranged for a box of chocolates to be in our room on arrival, as it was a special occasion, which was a very nice touch. The receptionist called me on the day I was due to arrive and arranged for a colleague to pick us up from the ferry and drive us... More

The best thing this small hotel has going for it is the location, being the closest hotel to the Zlatni Rat beach (which is amazing). There are only 24 or so rooms, so you have small hotel service, meaning little service at all. The front desk is staffed by really nice people -- on person at a time -- so... More

Although there was only 1 person at reception and we had to wait 15 minutes for them to show someone to their room, the staff are pretty friendly and the hotel bar has cocktails in to-go cups for your walk into the old town. Perfect location for beach time. A five minute walk along the promenade towards town finds a... More

We stayed at the Zlatni Rat for two nights which turned into three. We were wanting to stay as close as possible to the famous beach so you couldn't beat the location. It's about a 20-30 minute walk to town but it is along a very scenic boulevard which is beautiful and nice way to finish an evening meal and... More

The manager was so helpful, we went out of season so they'd only just opened on our day of arrival but he helped us to book a trip and even drove us to the next village because there was no other transport running. He even did our washing for us and took us down to the port to catch our... More

We caught an earlier ferry than planned so there was no-one in reception when we arrived as I didn't notify them, no problem at all! The waiter saw us, rang the lady who worked in the tourist office and she was there in minutes. We were upgraded as it was quiet and were led to the back of the restaurant... More

Amazing island, with the hotel right next to the greatest beach on the Adriatic (in the world). The rooms are stunning and sparkling. Most importantly, the staff here are Butler-like in their attendance, doing absolutely everything and anything they can to help. (free) offers to take our luggage to the centre of town for us, I mentioned that the coffee... More
