The Island of Bol it is one of the most beautiful islands around Split.
We visited the Golden Horn beach which had many activities for children and adults, bars , restaurants .
The water was very salty but very clean ,lots of shaded area as it is right next to the mountains.
The whole experience was amazing the only regret, not staying there longer
We dined at Pumparela Restaurant which had the best beef stake on a heated plate .
The staff were very friendly ,the Restaurant was run by an Albanian Family for over 20 years

This humble 3* hotel is a real gem. First of all - the best possible service. All our requests were responded instantly and with smile. Rooms are big and clean, breakfasts plentiful, lunches tasty and not expensive, and, what is most important, closest to the famous beach.

I stayed at the Zlatni Rat Beach Resort last week. It's a small hotel, good size rooms with all facilities. 5 mins from the beach and 15-20 min walk to town but on a safe promenade and all on the flat. all staff but Reception staff especially Renata very helpful and friendly. The only thing is if they had one english speaking channel on the TV just to catch up on the news would be helpful. Also some rooms are up the top of a slant so if you have mobility problems there are other rooms lower down so ask for them.

it was great value for money and as small, nice personal touches would stay again.

Dear Cara, Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review of Zlatni Rat Beach Hotel and thank you for recommending us to the Tripadvisor community. It is very satisfyng for us to see our efforts to provide a quality stay and a professional and friendly service recognised by our guests. As to the apparent lack of English TV channels, unfortunately the previous guests must have fiddled with the controls and wiped some channels in the process. We offer many satellite channels including English language ones. I am sorry you did not mention it to Renata as she would have sent someone around immediately to get the issue sorted. We hope you enjoyed your holiday in Bol as much as your stay in our hotel. Kind regards, Valentina

Situated right next to the amazing Zlatni Rat Beach, this hotel is perfectly located. The staff are really friendly and helpful, which is one of the most important things in a hotel. We only stayed for one night last August, travelling through Croatia, but the staff still made us feel very welcome.

The rooms are plenty big enough, and all have Wi-Fi. The breakfasts are great, with much variety, and you can eat out front with great views of the beach and sea.

Plenty of car parking spaces available. No pool, but with the beach only 2 minutes away, you really don't need it.

The main town of Bol is a very pleasant 10-15 minute walk along a pine tree covered promenade. Lots of restaurants and bars there, but certainly not too touristy. There are bigger more expensive hotels nearby, but this one is closest to the famous beach and is definitely recommended.

This place was the highlight of our two week trip to Croatia! First of all, we only had time for one island and we are so glad we picked Brac! It is so beautiful and sooooo laid back. Bol is a charming town and Zlatni Rat Beach deserves all the hype - no other beach like it in the world. The Zlatni Rat Beach Hotel is in an ideal location - right by where you walk down to the beach. The hotel itself and the rooms are modest (not luxurious) but very clean and the service was absolutely amazing. The front desk staff were incredible and the restaurant (which is owned separately from the hotel) was just brilliant. We ate dinner twice there and the fish was so fresh and the service so attentive. We spent time talking to the owner and our favorite waiter. It was just a great experience. We stayed in the new annex in the back which we really enjoyed. Very quiet with front porch areas where you can sit out and have cocktails and enjoy the view (sea view - although it does overlook the parking lot as well). The walk to town is about 1.2km but it is a lovely walk along a seafront promenade. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Staff were ok, hotel room was very average with the air conditioner being the highlight. Location is good for the beach but was pricey just to save 3 minutes from some of the other cheaper, seemingly better hotels.

The hotel was actually quite cheap compared to a lot of others, especially due to its great location. Arrived at the hotel and had a small wait when I arrived as no receptionist was at the desk. The hotel is in an excellent location next to the famous zlatni rat beach. It's also a straight forward 20 minute walk to the town centre of Bol. We could only get a garden view room as all the sea view rooms were taken. The room was nice and big with everything we needed. It had air con/ towels/ CD player / TV and the bed was comfortable. The downside was due to Mosquitos getting in the bathroom vent which I guess is a problem in a warm climate! There was no view from the apartment which was disappointing due to the fact the area was so beautiful.

I booked sea view room and the view was a big three in front of us. The terrace was in the middle of the road. The price of this hotel is totally overated (we payed more than 150eu) , there are many other options better than this hotel in Bol.

We booked the 'sea view' room on booking.com and they gave us the room that you can see at the pictures.

We complain at the reception and the hotel manager left the hotel without tell us any answer.

We felt totally cheated and disappointed in our special holidays.

The only thing good is the location, close to the Zlatni Rat beach, but is better to walk from Bol than book this expensive hotel.

1 minute walk away from the lovely beach. Very large rooms. Spotlessly clean. Daily maid service. Free wifi, stereo. International TV channels. Basic decor but with good varied lighting. On site restaurant and bar (find out closing times, as it was closed in the evenings in late Sept.). Basic breakfast. A very scenic 20 minute walk to town. Free shuttle to Bol ferry port or bus station on departure. Best of all was Ivana, the Hotel Manager who was extremely attentive and helpful

Located withing steps from Zlatni Rat beach, which makes it very convenient if beach is the main objective. It offers spacious apartments/rooms where simplicity dominates. There is not much to say about the place other than simple and good value.

We used one taxi to get from Bol's center to the hotel and from the hotel to Supetar for which we paid 70 and 350 kunas, respectively. We were subsequently informed that we got a good deal. There is also a water taxi that operates until 7:00 p.m. (Zlatni Rat beach <--> Bol's center) which costs 10 kunas per person.

Something to keep in mind. Breakfast offers poor choices. Also, the property is relatively far from the center where all restaurants and shops are located.

Please note that the establishment's proper name is Centar Marijan and not Zlatni Beach Hotel.

Relax and have fun!
