I highly disagree with all negative reviews I have read for assessment of Hotel Korčula. Me and my lovely wife had a wedding there in April 2012 and service was wonderful. Employees were EXTREMELY FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND NICE, location could not be better (if you are there, please stay and see the sun set), rooms are acceptable especially when you... More

What a spectacular location for this hotel overlooking the stunning waterfront. The exterior, terrace surrounding the entry and common areas are beautiful. Sadly, our room was dirty, smelled of smoke, with a bed harboring mattresses that should have been replaced about a decade or more ago. The tiny bathroom utilizes a dirty short shower curtain which synchronizes well with the... More

Such a pity! This could be such a nice hotel because of the ancient building and perfect location at the beach. However, rooms are old and really dirty. Staff didn't even think of helping us carry our luggage to the third floor. Even the local taxi drivers say that the hotel is badly run - by a local communist:-) More

Hotel is so old and falling apart. The only good point is it's location and you get a car space provided as there is no parking near the old city of korcula. No lift in the hotel either. We had a split level room on the second floor for the three of us. No air-conditioning, our fan could not stand... More

Terrible incompetent service, took our passports on check-in and refused to return them "until after 6pm" with no explanation. Sheets and pillowcases were dirty and stained, no decor in the bleak room, and the worst? No A/C!!! In 90 degree summer heat? Didn't sleep a wink! Only convenient because it's across from where the Hvar Dubrovnik etc ferries come and... More

Location cannot be beaten and the hotel appears grand on the outside. Unfortunately these are the only positives. Our first room was on the second floor. Windows would not close and the room was like an oven due to the blinds being broken. We were offered another room on the second floor with working windows and blinds. As it was... More

My wife and I, both in our mid seventies, spent the 12th to 26th June 2011 at the Hotel Korcula and found it to be brilliant. The food was excellent, so was the staff and service, and the accomodation we couldn't fault. Facing the harbour one would expect a cruise ship to call occasionally, and some smaller boat traffic, after... More

This is a delightful hotel, right opposite the waterfront on the edge of the old Korčula town. Although it has a bit of age about it, the rooms are a good size, and most have balconies with views directly over the Adriatic. Our bed was very comfortable, the buffet breakfast is ample and the staff are friendly and helpful, evening... More

I have to say that I was here in 2004 but the experience is still in my mind as very negative. We had one of the third floor rooms which I am surprised they even sell as they are so bad, with a squint hole for a view! The food was poor, with hot dogs and boiled eggs featuring at... More

I don't know how I missed the terrible reviews of this hotel before we stayed there! Should have been a tip-off when the local man we met on the ferry over to Korcula rolled his eyes when we mentioned where we were staying. He told us to watch out for the rooms on the third floor. When we checked in... More
