This place is.... okay. The price is fairly decent, especially if you log into holahostels.com and register (like 30 seconds). Then you get 10% off. We have stayed there a total of five nights now and never once has our room been cleaned during the day. The mattresses and pillows are definitely at least two or three decades old as... More

Stayed here for 2 nights as a solo girl. Safe area, secure Hostal, rooms decent sized and price, stayed in a private, with double bed and shared bathroom. Nice pool, bar, great breakfast, good Wifi. Helpful staff, speak English.

Ok. I'll start by saying that I agree with DaveB2, the vibe at Nucapacha is lacking. Aside from the one very pleasant local guy who does cleaning and cooking in the morning, the staff (owners?) are neither particularly helpful nor friendly BUT they have a pool! And it's clean. And the neighbourhood is nice. Urdesa is a tranquil, slightly upscale... More

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for one night and didnt enjoy any aspect of the hostal. We found all members of staff unfriendly and unwelcoming. We always felt like we were imposing and even when it rained we felt like they were angry at us for wetting their floor upon entering the hostal. We found the double room incl bathroom very... More

I loved this place from the first time. Its quiet, clean, comfortable. For sinles, groups, families and couples. Probably even on your business trip you would find a space to work during a stay in this hostal. There is a free WIFI, working quite good as well. The rooms in hostal are with warm water what is in Ecuador not... More

The staff here is extremely helpful day or night! The hostel is very safe, and has filtered water for drinking and a washer and dryer (such a rarity!) that guests may use for a very small amount of money. It also has a pool, and a nice little area with hammocks for relaxing. The showers are not always hot, but... More

10 min. in taxi from the airport or bus terminal (5 $). Nice pool, nice room, everything is clean. A little patio where you can chill out (hamacs). A kitchen to cook, one computer. 12 $ for a double room (matrimonial without private bathroom) with a nice breakfast, cheap for Guayaquil.

The hostel is in a great, safe, lo key area of town called Urdesa. Only a two or three dollar cab ride from downtown. A little pricey, but that is to be expected in a big city. The dorms aren't the best in the world, about eight beds per, but sometimes they can be empty except for yourself. There is... More
