We stayed at the Hilton Colon as part of the Nat Geo Galapagos trip. The staff was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. The gym was pretty substantial in terms of machines and free weights, the pool area and bar were beautiful, and it was a nice stop-over as we left and returned from Galapagos. The place was great! While location is great and certainly is difficult to find a better hotel than this in the city, this Hilton lacks of details in the service and the quality of the room could be improved. As with most of these large modern hotels you could be in any country in the world - but after a few weeks in ecolodges we were happy to have all the conveniences. We really liked this hotel. It is child friendly and great for families. The breakfast buffet was outstanding as well as service. The pool is great for kids and they have a nice bar at the pool. They provided transportation from the airport always on time. It is close to nice shopping malls. I will definetely go back. More
