We had been staying at a "guesthouse" nearby but came across the Unipark Hotel while walking around in the area. The price at Unipark, which included an all you can eat breakfast, was lower than at the guesthouse. We promptly packed our things and relocated. The hotel is very clean with an abundance of staff, our room comfortable with 2... More

We stayed at Unipark twice, at either end of our trip to Ecuador. It's a strange setup, with the hotel owning two hotels either side of a shopping mall. This meant that when we checked in, fairly late in the evening, we first had to go to reception, then trundle our cases through a closed shopping centre to get to... More

I have stayed at the Hotel Unipark for a one night stopover on my way to Galapagos. The airport pick-up and drop-off has worked properly. The room is spacious. The Corniche is only two blocks away and in front of the hotel is a small park with plenty of iguanas. I was surprised about the fabulous breakfast - huge choice... More

Very comfortable and spacious room with a wonderful view of Iguana Park and the Cathedral, both across the the street. Great location a short walk from the wonderful Malecón 2000 riverwalk and several museums and other public spaces and sights. Fabulous breakfast (included). Free airport transfers with excellent service. Air conditioning in room worked well, but the thermostat did not... More

Clean, large rooms. Only one bottle of water left per room (you can't drink the tap water in Guayaquil) - it would have been nice if they left at least 2 bottles (one per person at least). Location is good - right across from the iguana park and walking distance from the Malacon - but we were told not to... More

The hotel has a great location in the city centre facing a plaza with huge iguanas (we could also see them sunbathing on top of the trees from the room's window). The room is really nice and clean, they made it up twice every day (cleaning in the morning and making the bed and leaving the good night chocolate in... More

I've stayed at Hotel Unipark beginning of my Ecuador trip. A nice hotel after a long flight. The rooms are big and beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is a big buffet with everything you'll need for a good start in the morning. The Hotel is located very central in Guayaquil, good to explore the city. It's not a 5* Hotel... More

I have been staying at Unipark since 2004 and this is my 1st review about the hotel. Since 2004 it has been improving constantly and it has reached to the point that almost justifies its 5 stars. The staff is very hekpful, polite and friendly. The breakfast at the Unipark Cafe is one of the best I have ever tried... More

We paid for for a suite. I checked in to find that an additional $20 was required for having a third person in the room, even though the room had two double beds. Also, they gave us a double room with a sofa, but charged us for the full suite. Furthermore, our room was in a tower that was not... More

Dear guest: Thank you for your comment, as you mentioned our rates are for single and double room, any additional person will be charged an additional fee which includes buffet breakfast. The hotel has 2 towers, one facing the park and the second one facing the city, there is no extra charge to have a park view, but those rooms... More
