We stayed in this hotel for one night as a part of the tour group. The hotel is located in a very scenic location on the bank of San Pablo Lake surrounded by rolling hills. The property as well the landscape is well maintained. The rooms are very charming with log cabins, working fireplace, clean bath rooms and hot water.... More

Me, my wife and some friends stopped by Puerto Lago to have lunch. The scenery is beautiful, you will have great photo opportunities. The food at the restaurant was good, but to me it was overpriced to Ecuador standards. So, my suggestion is to enjoy only some coffee or drinks at the restaurant. Parking is free, so you can stop... With a group of friend , we stayed in this hotel on the very last day of our trip in Ecuador, Just before going back to Europe. Some of us had a great big room with view on the lake and a cheminee, when you can have a fire started before you go to bed, others had tiny small room... More

The rooms look super nice, bathrooms are clean, everything was very well kept. The only bad thing is that the rooms don't have heat :( you have to... More

They said wind was making the smoke not leave through the chimney, but the waters of the lake were perfectly still. Our rooms were like a bar with smoke and we all smelled and had red eyes. The playground was nice for kids and the look of the cabin was nice, but the size and experience of the room will... More

The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The hotel sits lakeside and that's about all it has to offer. The food is average, the room does have a fireplace [ only lasted 15 min.] t.v. coffee maker and adequate bathroom. Too far to go for beautiful topiary.

Room is basic. Would prefer heated room. The view of the San Pablo lake was great especially at 6 AM. The log cabin style is romantic. The breakfast was fair. The toilet would not stop running all night.
