I stayed in he Gateway Hotel for about 24 hours in connection with a conference held there. My wife accompanied me. What impressed us most was the outstanding service at every point - reception, housekeeping and the restaurants. One thing that stands out about this hotel is the care and attention that staff pay to you and this reflects good management, especially in the front office. “nice hotel in the center of vijayawada”

clean rooms.. the food is good but nothing to write home about. bathrooms are a little small. service is very informal and can improve.. not upto taj group standards. the reception has very little information about the local sites. if you do stay in this hotel ensure you have internet to research the local sites.

“Good room, bad food”

Hotel is well located on main road & room quality was very good. Food quality very poor and stale... Service was good. They let us check in early when we came in tired from a 5 hour drive from Hyderabad. Very big and spacious rooms.

“A place to go for food”

I have not stayed at the Gateway but when I am in Vijayawada I go there for the very good food. The fish tika is outstanding and the tomato soup is a signature dish. The staff is highly personable and the service is attentive with suggestions and helps make dining a pleasure there.

“Hospitality at its Best”

Excellent hotel with wonderful people and great food . One must experience a centrally located hotel run by Taj at vijayawada for its warmth service. Swimming pool at roof top is a spectacular idea to spend evenings by the pool side.
