Quiet location, walking distance to town. Bring a flash light for coming back at night. Hill is a bit steep coming up. The morning chanting may or may not wake you up. Breakfast is good. Could use to leave the hot water on at night for people who want to shower then. Beautiful garden and little birds. More

Look up from the main street of Munnar and you will see Mount Carmel Church. Rheinberg homestay is just nearby - a short walk up a path to peace and quiet. This was a great choice - very friendly staff and a great position, only a step down into the town and near 2 very cheap, but recommended eating places.... More
